Gift Annuity Program
You can now receive income for the rest of your life and help UH get “Fit for Life” with a United Hebrew Gift Annuity! United Hebrew will pay you (and if desired another beneficiary) a fixed income based on your age for the 
rest of your life. Rates range between 5.7% for a 60-year old and 11.3% if you are 90 or older. Some of your income may be tax-free and a portion of your gift is taxdeductible.
Gifts can be funded with cash or appreciated securities. If you give with appreciated securities, you also avoid your capital gains tax up front. Gift annuities are perfect for donors who wish to make a gift to United Hebrew now, but still rely on the income produced by their assets!

A Bequest Request
Please let us know if you have included United Hebrew in your will or trust. We want to make sure you get the recognition you deserve, plus all planned giving donors will be included in United Hebrew’s special Legacy Circle. A bequest in your will or trust is one of the easiest and most common ways for you to make a gift to United Hebrew. Bequests work well for those who are unable to make an immediate gift, but would like to leave a legacy gift to United Hebrew. If you have already left a bequest to United Hebrew in your will or trust or have any questions about making a bequest to United Hebrew, please call Julie Gibbs, Director of Development, at 314-469-0700, ext. 120.
Special Occasion and Memorial Tributes
Do you want to acknowledge a new baby, a wedding, a special birthday or a holiday? Are you looking for a way to pay tribute to someone special? United Hebrew has a variety of tribute funds to mark that special occasion or honor a friend or loved one. Special occasion and memorial tribute envelopes are available in the Temple office, or just call the office at 314-469-0700, and we will be happy to send you one!
Grocery Store Fundraiser Cards
Do you shop at Dierbergs, Schnucks, Shop N’ Save or Whole Foods? If so, you can use your already budgeted grocery money to purchase Dierbergs, Schnucks, Shop N’ Save or Whole Foods Fundraiser Cards from United Hebrew. United Hebrew will receive $5 for every $100 you purchase. You can do your regular grocery shopping with the cards. They can be used for food, video rental, floral and pharmacy purchases. Your purchase will be deducted from the card. Without spending an extra penny, you get your groceries and United Hebrew gets a gift!
