Rabbi Jerome W. Grollman Hebrew School

Hebrew School classes are available for students in grades 3-7. Classes for the 3rd-6th grade students meet on multiple days to fit a variety of schedules. An optional year is offered to seventh grade pre B'nai Mitzvah students.

The curriculum focuses on reading and comprehension of Prayer Hebrew and speech with an introduction to oral modern Hebrew. It also includes a thorough examination of the prayer book, the worship service and the mastery of basic aspects of Shabbat and holiday rituals.

A special "plus-hour" learning environment assists students with B'nai Mitzvah preparation.

United Hebrew Congregation encourages every child to participate in this quality learning experience, whether or not the child is preparing for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
