Saul Spielberg Early Childhood Center Parent Board
The Saul Spielberg Early Childhood Center Parent Board, which is made up of all volunteer parents, is a wonderful resource for families in the school. The Parent Board does everything from providing meals to families facing difficult times and community service projects, to teacher appreciation gifts and fundraising. The members are always happy to talk about their own personal experiences with the school.

The Parent Board has several committees that plan wonderful events throughout the year and work to make the SSECC an exciting place for the families and teachers.
Family Engagement – This committee will work together to plan Family nights. These are fun times the whole family can get together with SSECC friends. Last year, for example, we had a Menchie’s night. We also had a fun parent night at Bright Idea Toys. Sometimes these events can also serve as a fundraiser for SSECC. This committee will also help with our annual Spring Fundraiser. We have some great ideas for this year so we need your help!
Community Relations – This committee will help with our Sunday Cycle event in the spring, which is always a fun day! You might help with our new Moms’ Event and Dads’ Event, and our successful Grandparents’ Day is planned again for the Spring as well. In addition, this committee will be planning a few Moms’ night out events!
Public Relations – This committee will work together on Teacher Appreciation. You might help with teacher gifts during the Holidays and end of the year, as well as the end of the year luncheon. Public Relations also works on SSECC Ads and brochures, and could use your help with some marketing ideas! Last, if you join this committee you might help out with our Mitzvah projects. Last year we did the Socks and Underwear drive. We would love to continue this and get ideas for additional projects.
