SERVICES

United Hebrew Congregation has been a leader in nurturing the traditions of Reform Judaism as a meaningful expression of Jewish life for more than 160 years. Our roots are planted in the very beginnings of Judaism.

Worship services are held at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, August through June, and at 6:00 p.m. in July. Services on Saturdays generally begin at 10:30 a.m., and on Jewish holidays throughout the year generally begin at 10:00 a.m. Frequently the Saturday morning service is graced by a Bar/Bat Mitzvah candidate. Please call the Temple office, 314-469-0700 to confirm the time of the Service.

On the first Friday night of the month during the school year, family services are held at 7 p.m. These services often include the participation of our Artist-in-Residence, Rick Recht and his "Shabbat Alive" Service. Tot Shabbat Services are held during the year either on Friday night or Saturday morning for families with Preschool age children. Please check the Temple bulletin or our Web Site for dates and times.

Traditional Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, as well as special multi-generational services, are held to accommodate the needs of all our congregants. A second day Rosh Hashanah service is also held. Children's services, appropriate for younger children, also are scheduled for each High Holy Day.
