The Jewish War Veterans Post 644 will hold their Memorial Day Program in recognition of the dearly departed Jewish War Veterans who deceased in the past year and in prior years. The service will be at 11 AM, in the Spielberg Chapel. Cantor Ronald Eichaker will lead the service. Members of Post 644 Jewish War Veterans will read the Veterans names. Taps will be played at the Flag in front of the synagogue as the members of the Post Salute. The public is invited to attend the service.
Earlier in the day, 300 area Boy Scouts will eat a hearty breakfast and they will place 7,000 flags on the graves of Jewish War Veterans on seven Jewish cemeteries in the area. The Boy Scouts are led by Earl Binder, Scout Master.
