Join us on Wednesday, September 13 at 12 noon in the Messing Auditorium for the film August Rush starring Keri Russell, Matthew Rys Meyers and Freddie Highmore. August Rush is the story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist and a sheltered young cellist who have a chance encounter one magical night, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger, August uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.
Lunch, preceding the film, will include shredded barbecue brisket sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, dessert and popcorn. Vegetarian option available upon request. Cost is $9 for UH members and $10 for non-members.
