Join us in the Messing Auditorium for the next movie in our Matinee Film Series, The Flamingo Kid starring Matt Dillon and directed by Garry Marshall. In this coming of age story, Jeffrey Willis (Dillon) has finished high school and gets a summer job at the Flamingo Beach Club. While dealing with pressure from his family to go to college, Jeffrey’s eyes are opened to a world of beautiful people with perfect lives. He falls in love and is on his way to selling sports cars for Phil Brody when things begin to fall apart and Jeffrey goes back to his close-knit family with a new perspective.
Lunch preceding the film will include a pasta bar, garlic bread, green beans, salad, dessert and popcorn.
Cost for the lunch is $9 for United Hebrew members and $10 for non-members.
