Join the United Hebrew Seniors Group as we welcome Blake Hamilton from the International Institute of St. Louis. He will speak on the refugee crisis, how someone is declared a refugee and how their agency is involved. The International Institute offers comprehensive adjustment services for refugees and immigrants in our community. In turn, these newcomers expand the richness of St. Louis’ diversity and help revitalize our economy.
Prior to the program, enjoy a lunch of vegetarian chili, hearty potato soup, cornbread, the UH house salad and more! The cost to participate is $8 per person.
To RSVP, e-mail April Hickman or send a check payable to United Hebrew Congregation, Attn: April, 13788 Conway Road, St. Louis, MO 63141, by Thursday, February 18. For more information, call April at 314-434-3404.
