Benedict (Baruch) Spinoza was excommunicated by the Amsterdam Portuguese-Jewish community in the 17th century. In this series of conversations, Steven Nadler and Alan Nadler will consider various aspects of Spinoza’s life and philosophy as it relates to Jewish thought and life.
