At Soldier’s Memorial in Downtown St. Louis
Pride Parade
Sunday, June 26, 12:00 p.m.
June is Pride Month for the LGBT community. United Hebrew Congregation will be joining with other St. Louis Jewish organizations and congregations to participate in St. Louis PrideFest to demonstrate Jewish support for diversity and inclusion!
Parade Marchers Needed!
Join Rabbi Rosenberg in the St. Louis Pride Parade on Sunday, June 26. On Sunday at noon, we’ll be walking together to demonstrate that our communities are open to all who wish to join us. The parade is about 3/4 mile long and is considered “family friendly.” This is a fun activity to do with your kids.
All walkers should arrive between 10:30 to 11:30 am! No later than 11:30 am. The parade begins at 12 pm.
The parade itself will go from 8th and Market up to 18th street. When you arrive, you will look for the Jewish Community group on Market, between 7th and Broadway by Kiener Plaza.
Please wear a blue shirt. If you would like, there are a limited number of shirts that have been ordered that you may purchase. They are all crew necks, sizes XS-XL. The cost is $10. They are available for purchase at the Jewish Federation during the times below. Any that are remaining will be for sale during the parade Sunday.
Pick up Times:
Friday, June 24 between 11 AM to 2 PM
There will be parking at Ballpark village (1 block away), parking garages, and street parking (not metered on Sundays).
Please also bring lots of water! There is a lot of standing around before the parade starts and it will be hot. Most importantly, bring lots of RUACH to show the LGBTQ community how much we love and support them!
A group from UH is taking the Metrolink down there together. If you would like to join us, we are taking the 10:47 a.m. train from the Richmond Heights station that is right across the street from the Galleria. There is a Metrolink parking lot by the station that you can park in. We take it down to 8th and Pine. That way on the way back, we take the train from Union Station to Richmond Heights and don’t have to walk back to the start of the parade. Please let Tara Mann know if you want to join us so we can make sure we have everyone before we leave.
