Music: Sounds of UH

United Hebrew prides itself on having a wide range of musical opportunities. In addition to the ensembles that participate in services and our artist-in-residence, Rick Recht, we bring in Jewish musicians from around the world. Past artists have included Naomi Less, Alan Goodis, Dan Nichols, Moshav Band, Soulfarm and Gerard Edery to name a few.

In 2016, we are excited to welcome Nefesh Mountain for a residency on April 29-May 1.

Our artists-in-residents are made possible through funds from the Helen C. Millstone Music Fund.

  • Guitar Lessons – UH offers beginning and intermediate guitar lessons starting in the fall.
  • UH Lab Musicians – All voices and instruments are welcome. Content covers a wide variety of Jewish themed music, offering opportunities for musicians to learn or rehearse music for services and programs throughout the year. Meets most Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. in the Spielberg Chapel.
