Why Partnership (Membership)?

Partnership at United Hebrew connects you to a warm, musical community committed to Jewish learning, meaningful relationships, and shared worship. United Hebrew isn’t a building, it’s the people who make up this congregation, working together to educate our children, support one another, and carry our legacy forward.

Benefits of Partnership

Partnership gives you and your family access to clergy, staff, and community life, and is required for enrolling children in UH Religious/Hebrew school and our B’nai Mitzvah program. (tuition and fees are separate).

Your annual commitment for Partnership includes:

• All worship services, holiday celebrations and High Holy Days services.
• Clergy access for pastoral care and life cycle events (weddings, baby namings, funerals)
• Youth Group enrollment, grades K–12 (excludes travel and off-site event costs)
• Discounted SSECC tuition for children Pre-K and younger
• Access to educational, social, and cultural programming at no cost or member rates
• All congregational communications, including HaMakor and other correspondence

What does it cost?

Your Partnership Commitment is United Hebrew’s primary source of revenue, funding clergy and staff, education, operations, and our worship and programs.

• Rates for members 39 and under start low and increase gradually each year until you reach your full partnership commitment at age 40
• Special rates available for single adults and single-parent families
• Your commitment may be tax-deductible; consult your tax advisor

No one is turned away. If cost is a barrier, our staff will work with you to make Partnership affordable.
