Giving gifts of food is a mitzvot of Purim. With the UH Purim project, it’s easy to fulfill this mitzvah of Mishloach Manot. You simply choose the recipients and write a message, we take care of packing and delivering the gift bag in time for Purim.  You can send these gifts to your UH friends & relatives, the clergy, UH board, your child’s class and teachers, or to the whole UH community! Again this year, you have the option to “turn on reciprocity” automatically sending a bag to anyone who sends one to you!

Each family will receive one bag with a message from everyone who is sending them Purim wishes. Additional bags may be purchased if you wish. Proceeds from the Purim Project Bags will be used for UH Education and Engagement scholarships and to make programming more affordable for all. In addition, donations can be made to the UH Backpack Buddies program to provide meals for students at Parkway’s Hanna Woods Elementary.  The ordering options are:

Send Purim Bags to members of the UH Community:

  • First recipients (choose up to 6 recipients for one flat price): $18
  • Every recipient thereafter: $4 each
  • Send to the SSEECC community: $118
  • Send to the entire UH community: $360
  • Special group options, such as your child’s class, staff, and board of trustees, also available!

Purchase additional Purim Bags to give your children, or for relatives, friends, and neighbors who are not directly affiliated with United Hebrew:

  • Have UH pack a bag for you to give: $8 each

If you need help ordering, please call the UH office at 314-434-3404 for assistance.

Wishing you an early Chag Purim Sameach. We look forward to celebrating with you!
