United Hebrew offers dynamic, relationship-centered youth engagement for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our programs are rooted in Reform Jewish values and designed to build community, foster leadership, and create meaningful Jewish experiences through fun, connection, and purpose.
All youth members of United Hebrew are automatically part of our youth engagement community.
K–2 (Primary Grades): Monthly Lounge Days after religious school featuring themed activities, play, and more — designed to help our youngest learners feel at home at United Hebrew.
Grades 3–5 (Upper Elementary): Monthly Lounge Days at United Hebrew, plus up to five joint field-trips opportunities with B’nai Amoona each year, from bowling to SkyZone and more! Students can also participate in congregation wide opportunities, like Shabbat-in-Action, game nights, holiday celebrations, and more.
Grades 6–8 (Middle School): Monthly engagement events at United Hebrew – ranging from on-site to off-site trips. We also partner for five annual field trip opportunities with B’nai Amoona — think City Museum, Mini-Golf, and more. A great way to build friendships across the St. Louis Jewish community.
Grades 9–12 (High School): Monthly opportunities to connect, lead, and grow — including social hangouts, social justice and leadership programming, and involvement in BBYO and other regional Jewish teen organizations.
United Hebrew proudly partners with B’nai Amoona to create shared youth experiences across the St. Louis Jewish community. We also actively support teen involvement in:
NFTY, BBYO, Student to Student, Jewish Student Union (JSU), LEAD STL (formerly Cultural Leadership), and more.
At every stage, our goal is simple: to help every child feel known, connected, and excited to be part of Jewish life.
