Chanukah Lunch w/Entertainment by Shakshuka

Monday, December 19 at 12:00 p.m.

LUNCH—$10 each

Lunch will include brisket, latkes, honeyed carrots, and salad. Vegetarian option is Portobella mushrooms. Dessert
provided by Brookdale Creve Coeur. Please let us know if you need a vegetarian or gluten-free meal.

ENTERTAINMENT: Shakshuka

We welcome Shakshuka for a performance with band members Betsy Cytron (drums or dumbek), Ron Cytron (keyboards, guitar, and vocal), Annie Gottesman (guitar & vocals), Hal Goldsmith (saxophone), and David Propper (flute & clarinet). Founded in September 2021, the group performs music from Israel, America, Ukraine, and Russia. There repertoire includes folk and popular music from Israeli culture, instrumental selections from various countries, and sacred music from liturgy. The lyrics performed are in English, Hebrew, Yiddish and Russian.
